The fire has hit closer to home in Stevenson Ranch about 2 miles north of here. Evacuation is possible within the evening depending on the wind. Paul, Kyle, and I went to the top of the hill to take spectacular pictures of fire drops:

So were you evacuated? or do you still have a home?
Looks like the fire stayed away from us and continued west. We had the bags packed and all the important papers all put away, but the fire didn't work its way over here.......yet!
Southern California has lost about 1700 homes!!! The Bolt's had to evacuate, but they put the fire out. 35 homes in Canyon Country/Saugus, gone. Arrowhead and San Diego lost maybe up to 2000 homes, ouch!
