Consider me an expressive grandfather, father, husband, son, and friend. Although I'm an Air Traffic Controller by trade, I enjoy research, good stories, motorcycle riding, family/friend fun, sushi, and the Anaheim Angels (or is it the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim?). Theologically speaking, I'm a Christian who considers God to be sovereign, balanced, just, and rational. Thus a proper study of the Bible (objective, contextual, historical, and logical) reveals absolute truth to worship and live b

Jack killed no one?
I think this was the first time in the history of 24 that Jack did not kill anyone during a show.

Google Earth and LAX
Google Earth itself is a great and entertaining program that allows you to see, even up close, anyplace on earth with a satellite picture. Add to it all the aircraft that are on their way to land at LAX, and it gets even more interesting. You can even add other airports for those not interested in just LAX. Check it out here.

Superbowl/Football Help
Most of us are generally casual observers of football. We know most of the good players and, when following our team, know most of the starters and what they usually do. I stumbled on a website [FOOTBALLOUTSIDERS] that explains in more detail the happenings of each game. Since the Superbowl is coming soon, you may want to get some good analysis so that you sound (and actually BE) educated when at the Superbowl Party or discussions at work.

Empire Energy Corp
Time to start thinking about investing in Tasmanian oil. Empire Energy Corp (EEGC) owns ALL the mineral rights in Tasmania and will start drilling in about one month for oil. They speculate, with a high degree of confidence, that oil will be discovered. When they do, our stock will rise from pennies to dollars. When you invest and make a good profit, let me know, you can buy me lunch.

Broken Volume
Just got through congratulating my cousin, Galen, for Chicago’s entrance to the Superbowl. They are in the middle of a snow storm in Chicago, so I had to rub in our 70’s weather just for the heck of it. His band, Broken Volume, has come out with a CD you may want to get, good stuff! You can hear some of their music at their MySpace site.

Paul's New Job
If you ever find yourself eating at the Salt Creek Grille at the Valencia Mall, look around for Paul. When he’s not trying to break the sound barrier on the motorcycle track, he’s working there to support such goals. Congratulations, Paul, with the new job. However, since we don’t get free golf anymore at TPC Valencia, you have to move out of the house.
